Though GSP’s were bred back in the day primarily for hunting reasons, today they are known to be a loving family companion to all that live among them.

• Hyperthyroidism

• Heart disease
• Entropion
• Blood clotting
• Nasal cavity tumors
• Epilepsy
• Arthritis
• Lymphedema

Though this may not be every disease/ailment these awesome pups can get, it is a list of the most common. Less common conditions include dysplasia of the hip and elbow, bloat, and progressive retinal atrophy.
