Buster is our loving Bulldog, and boy does he like to make sure that’s known! Though he may be needy at times, he’s perfect for my partner and me.

Buster is super tough on the outside, but he’s such a softie on the inside. Which is why it pains me to say that he gets a case of cherry eye every once in a while.

This painful condition really gets Buster down in the dumps. He’s more sad than happy and it seems that the ailment really gets to him. When his cherry eye flairs up, he doesn’t like to go outside and play as much. Not only that, but he also doesn’t like to be around my partner and me much. Buster tends to keep to himself during these periods. And though his vet prescribed him anti-inflammatory topical treatments, Buster doesn’t like it. He turns his head this way and that way to avoid us going anywhere nears his eye. It’s as if he doesn’t want anything to do with us.

That’s when my sister told me about an alternate route to help Buster: CBD oil. I must admit, I didn’t think it would work, but I’m glad I was wrong.

My partner and I ordered some of the oil and started giving it to Buster. We put a few drops on a slice of cheese and gave it to him, and he ate it so quick, we didn’t even notice him chewing. The cheese allows us to get the CBD oil in his system while going nowhere near his eyes. Needless to say, the CBD oil has helped drastically with his cherry eye inflammation, so whenever he starts to feel down in the dumps, we give him a few drops on a slice of cheese, and it’s like he’s brand new. It’s a miracle!
