Ollie is my cutie pie, but unfortunately, he’s up there in age. For a Yorkie, they say his age shows that he’s winding down, but I refused to believe that. Ollie is 13-years-old, and up until last year, he was as hyper as a puppy.

This year, though, Ollie started to act differently. He was jumping up on the couch less and running around the house for the ball less. I started to get worried. And when I brought him into the vet, she said there was nothing physically wrong with him. He’d never had anxiety (thank God), either, so that wasn’t it. The vet suggested it could just be his old age, and that made me sad. There’s no medication on the market to treat ‘old age.’
